Our Futsal Program: Two Development Pathways to Foster Growth and Excellence

1. The Community Group: This group serves as a welcoming, safe space for children who love futsal, where skill level, access to equipment, or academic performance are never barriers. Here, children build friendships, learn the benefits of sports, and appreciate the importance of education. Each session closes with discussions on social issues and life values, nurturing their holistic development and preparing them for the world beyond the game.
2. The Elite Team: Players in this team are selected from the community group based on skill and leadership potential. Our aims are twofold: Empowerment: Players with leadership qualities have the chance to train as young coaches, helping address the need for professionally trained coaches in Rusunawa Marunda since 2019. With the high demand for training, these young coaches take on responsibilities including planning, executing coaching sessions for younger players, and reporting. This initiative, now in its sixth year, has trained over 20 professional coaches for our academy, with four alumni continuing at France Football Academy, Tzu Chi International School, and Eljesix Futsal Academy. To further support their growth, we provide futsal and football coaching certifications, helping them build lasting careers in coaching. Today, MFC proudly operates 11 active futsal classes, driven by 20 young coaches from our community—including two coaches holding national futsal and D-level football licenses—and guided by a full-time AFC Level 1-licensed coach and an experienced part-time coach. Sport Development: Talented players with exceptional potential are encouraged to sharpen their skills, forming dedicated teams that compete in regional and amateur tournaments. These experiences teach discipline, responsibility, integrity, patience, and dedication. Core team players also receive supplementary physical training, nutritious food, and chances to join advanced teams in provincial and national competitions.
